Ukraine mark

Ukraine is not a member of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). For this reason the EAEU TRs do not apply. Ukraine has its own regulations. The technical regulations in Ukraine are basically similar to the European directives in the EU taking into account Ukrainian legislation. The Ukrainian certification system is supervised and managed by Ukrainian Authority UkrMetrTestStandard.

Standards system

For customs clearance and commissioning of goods within the Ukraine, as a general contractor or manufacturer, you must provide either a UkrSEPRO declaration or a UkrSEPRO certificate. This proof confirms compliance with the Ukrainian UkrSEPRO standards system. The UkrSepro standards system defines the legal requirements for quality and safety of the respective product.

IMA Simple conducts a full cycle of work according to the following regulations

  • low-voltage electrical equipment (identical to 2014/35/EU)

  • electromagnetic compatibility of equipment (identical to 2014/30/EU)

  • radio and telecommunications terminal equipment (identical to 2014/35/EU)

  • restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (identical to 2011/65/EU)

  • establishing a framework for the setting of ecodesign requirements for energy-related products (identical to 2009/125/EС)

  • machinery (identical to 2006/42/EC)

  • general product safety (identical to 2001/95/EC)

  • safety of toys (identical to 2009/48/EC)

  • on liquid or gaseous fuels (identical to Regulation (EU) 2016/426)

  • measuring instruments (identical to 2014/32/EU)

  • medical devices (identical to 93/42/EС)

  • medical devices for in vitro laboratory diagnostics (identical to 98/79/EC)

DoC should be issued on the basis of a test report that confirms the compliance of the product with the applicable Ukraine TRs.

DoC is valid till the standards in the DoC are up-to-date. Applicants for the DoC or CoC can be a manufacturer or importers.

Since a product can be the subject of several technical regulations at the same time, there can be several declarations of conformity for one and the same product. Currently, it is possible to make a declaration, stating all the relevant regulations.

The presumption of conformity of electrical equipment is given by the application of national standards from the list approved by the order of the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine.

The Law of Ukraine "On State Market Supervision and Control of Non-food Products" stipulates that when conducting inspections, the results of a voluntary conformity assessment carried out by an accredited certification body must be duly taken into account. So it is preferable when the declarations of conformity with the technical regulations requirements are registered with the conformity assessment bodies on a voluntary basis at the applicants’ request.

Each unit of electrical equipment must bear a mark of compliance with technical regulations.
