The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is integration between five countries: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan. An important step in the process of integration is the development of common Technical Regulations. The national regulations such as GOST-R, STB, GOST-K standards were replaced by uniform technical rules.

EAEU

For EAEU market access you need to get EAEU approval and national requirements of member countries. The EAC certificates of the EAEU apply in all member states within the EAEU and are valid for up to 5 years. The issued EAC certificates are registered in the uniform register of the EAEU.

There are two types of conformity assessment for electrical appliances EAC Declaration and EAC Certification

The EAC declaration or the EAC certification can only be applied for by the company established in the Eurasian Economic Union. For this reason, a local representative within the EAEU is required.

The Eurasian Conformity Mark - EAC - is official proof that the products conform to all Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (CU TR and EAEU TR) assessment procedures.

The EAC marking declares that the product complies with the applicable safety requirements of the technical regulations. Only then the product can be placed on the EAEU market for free circulation.
