Serbia New RF band allocation plan came into force
On February 13, 2024 new Radio Frequency Band Plan came into force in Serbia. It was published by the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (RATEL) in Serbia on February 5, 2024.
This plan establishes the RF band allocation for certain radio communications services, in accordance with international Radio Communications Regulations, corresponding international agreements, arrangements, international legal acts and recommendations, as well as the relevant Regulations of the European Union. With the adoption of this plan, the legal conditions are met for the amendment of the existing and the adoption of new rulebooks in the area of radio communications.

In order to market Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment (R&TTE) in Serbia it is mandatory to perform certification procedure. R&TTe certificate covers all three directives LVD, EMC and R&TTe. Certification is based on the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) for a CE marking. After the approval, the manufacturer is obliged to label his product with the conformity assessment mark “Triple A”.
